Biography

Kameka Briana Word is a dedicated and engaging professional with 17 years of experience in higher education. A graduate of Tennessee State University with a degree in Business Administration specializing in Supply Chain Management, she also served as the Director of Public Service under the former Associate Dean of the College of Business at Tennessee State University. 

Ms. Word possesses a strong passion for student engagement and community outreach. Her professional background boasts significant experience in customer and donor relations, logistics, coordination, and planning. Notably, she actively serves as a board member for the International Services Organization of America (ISOA), a volunteer-led organization committed to advancing business and economic opportunities for youth and women.

Ms. Word's commitment to learning and educating others is evident throughout her career. She is dedicated to building strong relationships, and contributing to the success of both academic and community initiatives.
